Project Story

Revelation: Under The Microscope

In the distant past many within the sect (Niksurites) were paranoid about the sect becoming public knowledge. Initially it was believed certain members within were “silenced” to prevent exposure. However  recent evidence after the sect was revealed to public domain in May 9th 2013 supersedes this belief and portrays a more micro-technological approach, whereby nanites ; tiny microscopic robots were found inside the entire know members of the Niksurites. It was believed that these nano-robots were designed to eliminate exposure through detection, suspicion and control. In addition these robots supposedly contained a tracking device which enabled the leader(s) of the group to contain the location of any and every member. But the Identity of the mastermind behind these creations is unknown even today. Although other evidence from the day of the revelation states that these micro-devices were inside the food eaten by the sect members, suggesting there was indeed a hierarchy and whoever was at the top dictated those below. However there was a crisis known as the fall of the Niksurites which resulted in a number of unknown tragedies, arrest’s and the secrecy revealed. Today in the year 3089 we, the Ruskin Experience have found what remains of evidence from the past and chose to display for all to know.

Photoshop Experiment

I took to picture of prototype models and edited them on Photoshop both in colour and black and white

Image - Mode - Grayscale

Because model was mainly white its was better to work in black and white

Filter - Render - Different Clouds - Stylize - Extrude

Filter - Render - Different Clouds - Edit - Fade - Difference

I the results of these to because they remind me 1950's comic style pop art

Space style constellation

I started experimented with extruding the layers trying make it seem like there was something growing

Making - Control Centre.

I took out the magnet part of old headphones and used them to simulated the built-in speakers found on most tablets today.

Making the tablet dock

The wire for the plug wouldn't stay in so I made block to hold it in place.

I edited the sect logo on Photoshop to look like typical tablet style logo on the back because most tablets today have the logo in metallic type colours

Sketches/Computer Modeling

However I decided to accurately draw and model a tablet because that seem easier to make

Tablet Dimension

I initially for my disguised control device was going to make it appear like laptop/game console. But I though that there would be complications in terms of time to make it, putting pieces together etc..

I modelled remote control circuit board on Pro-desktop and used that to model the whole control device

Sketches and measurement I used to model the control device.

However

I decided to make a plan B in case my first plan didn't work.

Finish Development Model

I used fluorescent and glow in the dark colours for my model
